Storebrand has signed an agreement with Convier to strengthen their AML operations

Storebrand has partnered with Convier to strengthen its approach to anti-money laundering and financial crime.

Storebrand has partnered with Convier to strengthen its approach to anti-money laundering and financial crime. The Convier platform is now live and will provide a new foundation for automating compliance tasks and identifying suspicious customer behaviour.

The objective is to help Storebrand use its resources more effectively - shifting time away from manual documentation and towards investigation, prevention and better-informed decisions.

“Storebrand is a forward-looking organisation that wants to apply technology where it creates a real and measurable impact,” says Andreas Engstrand, CEO and co-founder of Convier.

“Financial crime teams still spend a significant amount of time collecting information and documenting their work. By automating more of these tasks, Convier enables analysts to focus their expertise on assessing risk, investigating suspicious behaviour and taking action.”

Convier helps financial institutions connect information across existing systems and turn it into structured, consistent workflows for anti-money laundering. The platform supports analysts in making well-founded decisions based on the information available, while maintaining clear documentation of how each conclusion was reached.

Storebrand joins a growing group of financial institutions using Convier to modernise their financial crime operations. Over the past year, Convier has put its platform into production across ten additional banks.

“We are very proud to work with Storebrand and look forward to continuing our collaboration,” says Engstrand.
